iGoogle

Does anyone use iGoogle? Do you like it?

I'm trying it out since McMommy uses it. And if she uses it, it must be good, right? ;)

I'm actually writing this post right from iGoogle. I can have Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Top News and more right on one page. Pretty darn nifty! Go check it out if you don't know what the heck I'm talking about!

(ok, it doesn't have my cool little "jen" picture at the bottom and I have to go to blogger to add the links should I want them. But it's good for quick blog posts!)

Brotherly Fun

I keep saying I'm going to enter a photo into one of the I ♥ Faces contests but I just forget. So I'm getting this one ready right now (and hopefully I won't forget to link it!).

This is for the kids category with a pic of a boy or boys in it. I took this one of EJ & Lucas at the playground about a month ago. I really love it!

Dear You,

I really wish you would realize that my kids are just as important as those other ones. Really. I wish they would get equal time with you because they don't see you as often and they like spending time with you. I just don't have an answer when they ask why they don't see you as much as the others do. And they notice, believe me. As much as it just makes me angry, it hurts them more. They are getting older and see the difference. So please, can you just try and realize what you're doing and try and change?

I know you won't though and that really sucks for them.

No more smelly towels!

Lately my bath towels have been sorta stinky. They smell fine coming out of the dryer but once they get wet after a shower, they have a gross smell to them. I'm assuming it's from being left in the washer too long at some point or left in a ball on the bathroom floor too long. The smell was gross and I couldn't take it any longer. I just wanted clean, fresh smelling towels! Is that too much to ask?

Yesterday, I decided to try running white vinegar in with them to see if it would help. I have a front loader and just put the vinegar in the bleach dispenser since I have no idea where else I could put it. Guess what? No more smelly towels! My towels now smell so much fresher and they seem softer and fluffier too! I'm so excited to have nice non-smelling towels now. You wouldn't think this would make a girl happy...but it does! I thought I'd share since summer is coming and I'm sure there will be lots of beach towels left in a ball too long! ;)

Walk this way

Yea! Trying to get myself back on the Weight Watchers wagon.....down 1.6lbs this week! I've been doing pretty good all week long too! =))

Trying to get my exercise in. It was much easier when I had my gym membership and went right from the bus stop in the morning. I stopped my membership for the summer because I know I wouldn't use it with the kids home. I just have to make myself work out in the morning...but it's so easy to go to the computer or do something else! (yes, right after I type this post, I'm going to work out. Honest!)

But the big news is that I'm doing a 5K walk this Saturday. My first one ever!!! Did you know 5K=3.1 miles? I didn't! 5K sounds so much scarier and longer! I can do 3.1 miles....especially since I'm walking with friends. Walking + Talking = Time going by fast

Have you done a 5K before? Any tips for me??
